Grapes for our 2016 Syrah hail from the famed Dry Hollow Vineyard in The Dalles, Oregon. The wine has a deep ruby color and opens with aromas of ripe black fruits, eucalyptus, and a hint of green pepper. In the mouth enjoy the rich flavors of plum, cinnamon, and black pepper followed by a medium-long finish. Our Syrah is delicious paired with grilled steak, smoked meats, or pasta dishes with dark rich marinara sauce.
2017 offered a nearly perfect growing season from bud break to harvest on October 17. This balanced and harmonious Zinfandel wine opens with brambleberry and coffee notes on the nose, and on the palate, it is lively with ripe berries and a touch of herb and briar leading to a long, sexy finish. 2018 had a burst of warmth in the spring and early summer, then mellowed into a perfect harvest in mid-October. This plush Zinfandel wine carries raspberry, spice, and peppercorn on the nose, and in the mouth, it’s delicious loads with ripe red fruit, coffee, and the influence of new American oak that makes fora long & supple finish. 2019 Pinot Noir
2019 offered even growing-season warmth until September, then it cooled into a perfect harvest on October first. This, our first Pinot Noir and a reserve selection begin with a nose of spices like star anise, and earth. In the mouth, it offers yummy flavors of dark cherries, dark chocolate, with beautifully integrated tannins from French oak barrel aging. Truly Inspired by Oregon Terroir®
2020 ROSÉ OF ZINFANDEL
Clear, hot days in August and September allowed us to harvest perfect fruit for our first Rosé of Zinfandel. The wine is a delight, with aromas of pie cherry, tarragon, and golden raspberry; and beautiful, bright, fresh flavors of red cherries, raspberries, and herbs.
